These terms are the agreement between you and [Legal name], trading as Statblaze, [Address] (“Statblaze”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. Statblaze is a service for businesses. If you use it as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
1. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure: anything done through your account is your responsibility.
- You may only connect Google Analytics and Search Console properties you are allowed to access and share. Agencies must have their clients’ permission.
- One account is for one person or business. Don’t share sign-ins.
2. Plans and free trials
- Plans, prices and what each includes are shown on our pricing page. Prices are in pounds sterling.
- Statblaze is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added. If that changes, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of any change to what you pay.
- New accounts can try a paid plan free for 14 days, without a card. If you don’t subscribe by the end of the trial, your account moves to the Free plan. One trial per customer.
3. Payments, renewals and cancelling
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- If you switch plan part-way through a billing period, the difference is charged or credited automatically.
- You can cancel at any time in Plan & billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then move to the Free plan. We don’t refund part-used periods unless the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it still fails, your account may move to the Free plan.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. New prices apply from your next renewal after the notice, and you can cancel before then.
- Discount codes apply as described when they’re issued, and can’t be exchanged for cash.
4. Plan limits
Each plan includes a number of websites. A website is one Google Analytics property paired with one Search Console property. If your account has more websites than your plan includes, the newest ones are paused (their data is kept) until you upgrade or remove some. Free accounts keep 6 months of history; older data is deleted.
5. Using Statblaze fairly
You must not:
- use Statblaze for anything unlawful, or to process data you have no right to process;
- try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or test, probe or overload our systems;
- copy, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer the service;
- upload logos or content you don’t have the right to use, or anything harmful or offensive.
6. Your data
Your data, including your Google data, stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Statblaze to you, as our Privacy policy describes. You can delete it at any time by removing websites or deleting your account.
7. Embeds and white-labelling (Agency plans)
- An embed link shows a read-only report to anyone who has it. You are responsible for who you share it with. Use the domain lock, expiry date and revoke options to control it.
- Branded reports must only use logos and names you have the right to use.
- Embeds stop working if your account moves to a plan without them.
8. Agencies and client data
When you connect a client’s Google properties, you act as the controller of that data and we act as your processor. Our Data processing agreement forms part of these terms whenever that applies. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and your clients’ instructions for that processing.
9. What Statblaze can and can’t promise
- Reports come from Google and are only as accurate as Google’s data. Search Console data runs 2 to 3 days behind, and positions are Google’s averages, not live rankings.
- Statblaze explains your numbers in plain English, but it isn’t professional advice. Decisions you make are your own.
- We work hard to keep Statblaze available and secure, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time, and will tell you about changes that significantly affect you.
10. Our property
The Statblaze software, design and brand belong to us. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to own it.
11. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
- We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in those 12 months, or £100 if that’s more.
12. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which removes your data and our Google access. We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms or doesn’t pay, and will give notice where it’s reasonable to do so.
13. Changes to these terms
We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice by email of changes that matter. If you keep using Statblaze after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
